Demolition (a poem)
leewritespoetryalot
every time you show up
my heart rips itself out of place
so you can’t grab it first.
my organ hides in my ribcage to avoid the graze of your hand
running to my stomach while you ravage through my cavity
destroying what’s left of me
the feeling of love
wanting to be loved
the memories of being happy
feeling so distant
so cold
as they drift away into my bloodstream
you tear at my arteries
looking for a remedy
that will heal your broken heart
you know you won’t find it here
but you search anyway
demolishing my entirety in your path

I love your style.
WOAH I LOVE THIS
